Are you hoping the Christmas season never ends? Ready to relax and take some time to celebrate the season? If you answered "Yes," please join us for the 49th Annual Nights of Christmas with Metigoshe Ministries on December 27, 28 and 29 beginning at 7 p.m. each evening at the Lakeside Christian Center. It is a place where the "treetops glisten" and "all is merry and bright!"
Again this year, the returning summer staff of Camp Metigoshe will be joined by special guests for a combined Christmas program of music, laughter, and worship, highlighted by the beautiful sight of thousands of lights hanging in the trees. With the hectic pace of the Christmas holiday behind us, we will slow down to appreciate the gift God gave us in a manger in Bethlehem.
Plan to join us for one or all three nights this Christmas season. No tickets required; each evening a free-will offering will be taken for the continuing ministry of the camp.
Special musical guests:
Dec. 27 - Singer/songwriter and Minot High School senior Chloe Marie wrote her first song when she was 8 years old. As the winner of North Dakota's "Celebration of Music" competition, Chloe Marie was filmed for a Prairie Public TV concert series in California. Beginning as a pop musician, Chloe Marie now includes country, Christian and, of course, Christmas music in her performances.
Trilogy is made up of Robert, Duncan and Connor White- identical triplets who served on Camp Metigoshe's summer staff in 2019. Growing up in the Atlanta, Ga., area, they have been performing music together since age 8. Now relocated to Velva N.D., where their mother (Rev. Sue Lynn White) is pastor of Oak Valley Lutheran Church, Trilogy perform a blend of well-known Christian rock alongside their own songs.
Dec. 28 - We are excited to announce Kat Perkins as our special guest performer. She is a native of Scranton, N.D. who skyrocketed to national prominence with her incredible performances throughout the 6th season of NBC's "The Voice" in 2014, advancing all the way to the show's semifinals. Her career has also seen her spend several summers as a main act on the Medora Musical stage, performing as an opening act for Bon Jovi, and more recently on her own tours throughout the USA and internationally, as well.
Dec. 29 - Daniel Starks is a fun and energetic musician from Ryder, N.D. Along with his own blend of soul-stirring gospel, Starks captivates concertgoers with his dynamic vocal range and exceptional guitar play. Daniel enjoys sharing his voice with audiences and has an entertaining stage presence that will be sure to have you laughing, singing or dancing along.
Becky and Karley Hill are a mom and daughter team. Karley is a freshmen at Bottineau High School. She plays piano by ear and chording. She loves to harmonize and use the gift of music that God gave her. Becky has been singing since she was young and loves that she and Karley can sing together.
