Christmas Eve Ervin Longnecker accompanied Eric and Lisa Longnecker to the candlelight service at First Lutheran Church in New Rockford and were joined later at Eric and Lisa’s by Larry and Nancy Arendt for a fun fondue and gifts.
Charlotte Koepplin was Christmas Eve BBQ rib supper guest at the Martin and Janelle Koepplin home. Later a fun game of Merry Widow and some rummy took place. Charlotte, Martin and Janelle and KC joined other family for Christmas dinner at the Todd and Karen Koepplin farm.
Christmas Day Margie Anderson's daughter Shelly and Kent Rigsby picked her up and they drove to Sheyenne where they were among the many who enjoyed the Community Christmas dinner at Ostby Hall.
Ervin Longnecker enjoyed a Christmas phone call from his sister Lucille Saldivar from her home in Anaheim, Calif., where they had been having rain and snow.
Pastor Dale and Helen Emery of Grand Forks gave Margie Anderson a phone call filled with greetings of the season.
Monday visitors and supper guests at the Charlotte Koepplin home were Candy Jensen and her son Jerrod. They brought Christmas greetings and gifts and a special gift of homemade sauerkraut from Candy's son Derik Holte.
Saturday Charlotte Koepplin received the sad news that her Aunt Ramona Koepplin had passed away in Minneapolis where she lived on Friday, Dec. 27, 2019.
Sunday Ervin Longnecker enjoyed a phone call from Cindy Allen and Jim Brown filled with greetings of the season from Eagle, Idaho. Cindy was celebrating her 60th birthday. Jim and Cindy had recently returned from a holiday trip to Boston where they visited with Jim's family.
Charlotte Koepplin received Christmas greetings calls from Eugene and Dedre Weisenburger from their home in Mojave, Ariz. Eugene's daughter Vicky Remich and son Ed Weisenberger were visiting over the Christmas holidays. All were doing well. Saturday visitors and supper guests at the Charlotte Koepplin home were Janet Laube and Yip Yip.
Friday Patti Larson was a visitor at the Margie Anderson home. The gals enjoyed the music at the Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd. Jim and Jani Siefert also stopped in at Margie's one afternoon.
