New Rockford-Sheyenne played well overall for four quarters, as the locals defeated Rolla, by a final score of 68-46, in non-district girls basketball action, played here on Friday, Jan. 10.
The Rockets had a big first half and it was just too much for the Bulldogs to overcome. Rolla had some trouble handling the locals defensive pressure. Morgan Leas paced Rolla with a 27 points. Isabelle Mears added 10. Hannah Haley led the locals with a game high 28 points. Dani Bjerke had 14 and Kayahna Hopfauf added 10.
