New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the family of Martin Lucht. Tuesday, Amanda Bickett stopped in at the Ken and Marvis Holte home and they went out for coffee, tea and treats.
Friday evening many family and friends attended the family prayer service at the First Lutheran Church in New Rockford for Martin Lucht. Martin and Eloise’s children, daughter Heidi and Jay Schneider, Caleb and Callie of Devils Lake, son Scot and Kim of Rochester, Minn., son Allan and Julie of Germany and son Larry and Irene of Stephen City, Va., and other close friends were there with their many memories of Martin to share. Saturday morning they and many others attended Martin’s funeral and fellowship dinner following the burial at Prairie Home Cemetery.
Janet Laube and Yip Yip were later Wednesday afternoon visitors and supper guests at the Charlotte Koepplin home.
Marvis Holte received the sad news that Neil Sorrells of Fargo had passed away. Neil, being the father-in-law to Marvis’s sister Penny Birkholz Sorrells of Minnesota.
