Last Sunday, Jake, Amanda, Fallyn and Piper Hegland went to Grand Forks to cheer on Amanda’s cousin playing basketball for the University of South Dakota against UND. The Heglands met up with Amanda’s aunt and uncle from Oneida, S.D., and took in the game.
Tom and Pam Schmid visited Pam’s dad, Bud Hermanson, in Hampden last weekend. Tom and JD spent four days fishing at Lake of the Woods, Minn. Jakob Schmid was home from Bismarck for the weekend.
Tom and Pam enjoyed the Williams and Ree show at the Spirit Lake Casino Saturday night.
Jarvis Hegland visited James Nelson on Sunday.
Linda Madson joined Connie Brown, Jan Loe and Barb Eversvik for swim exercises at the casino pool on Monday. Following swimming, the gals enjoyed lunch at the buffet.
Tuesday morning, Dave and Linda brought their puppy, Morgan, out to Carrie and Paul Prince’s in Oberon for a 3-day stay while the Madson’s were in Grand Forks. Dave and Linda went on Tuesday to be ahead of the predicted bad weather. Sure enough, it stormed in Grand Forks with very cold wind and blowing snow.
Dave kept a medical appointment on Thursday morning. Following the appointment, the Madson’s did some shopping at the Grand Forks Airforce Base before returning home.
Friday morning, Paul and Carrie brought Morgan home.
Saturday morning, Linda accompanied Melodie, Kennedee and McKenzee Madson to Oberon to drop off their puppy, Morgan’s brother, Bruce at the Prince’s home. The Madson’s continued on to Jamestown where they met Cathy and Shawn Caulfield for lunch. Following lunch, the gals continued on to Fargo.
Sunday morning, the Lake Region Figure Skating Club Synchro Team competed at the Moorhead Sports Center. Kennedee and McKenzee are members of the team. The girls did an awesome job and received silver medals for their effort. Congratulations to the Synchro team.
The Madson’s returned home Sunday, picking Bruce up on the way.
Beth Olson visited Todd Buehler Thursday afternoon.
John, Donna and Lacey Grann traveled to Northwood on Tuesday to watch a Rockets boys basketball game.
