Betty White Mandan, N.D.
Betty White, 92, died Feb. 23, 2020, in Mandan N.D. The funeral service was held Feb. 28 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Carrington, N.D. Burial was at the Carrington Cemetery. Fr. Terry Dodge officiated with special music provided by the Sacred Heart Choir, Lois Clark and Marlene Boyer. Casket bearers were John Zearly, David White, Douglas Zink and Paul Kvitek
Betty Jean Engle was born on Sept. 13, 1927, to William C. and Edith M. (Jadin) Engle. She married Frank White on Nov. 25, 1949 in Jamestown. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church until 2014.
Betty is survived by five children: Nancy White (Tom Knapp), Moorhead, Minn.; Bill White, Carrington; Steve White, Carrington; Tom (Marcie) White, Mandan; and Lisa White, Moorhead; three grandsons; one great-granddaughter; 11 nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and nephews, and one great-great-great niece.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son Greg, all 10 siblings, two nephews, and two nieces.
