Candy Jensen enjoyed Thursday evening and supper with Mindy Skjerva and fun time with Audrey Jo at the Skjerva home.
Todd Koepplin, Taylor Koepplin, Corey Longnecker and friends returned Wednesday after a very successful fishing trip into Canada’s Lake Winnipeg. The weather was great, and the fish were big.
Lois and Tait Feigert from Jamestown were recent visitors of Gary Lindquist. They came here for the funeral of Roger Semmens, which was at St. John’s Catholic Church in New Rockford. They left for home after visiting Gary.
This week Janet Laube enjoyed phone calls from sister Janice and Don Guilbault from Yuma, Ariz., and sister-in-law Lois Ackert of Fargo.
Monday Calvin Packard drove his mother Shirley to Devils Lake for an eye appointment.
Friday morning, Candy Jensen got a surprise visit from her brother Rick Koepplin bringing tires for Candy’s car. They enjoyed bakery rolls and coffee, and then a drive to Prairie Home Cemetery to visit parents’ graves. It was Rick’s 58th birthday and his wife Cora’s 56th birthday.
Calvin Packard and mom Shirley, enjoyed soup and sandwich supper Wednesday prior to the Ash Wednesday service at Grace Lutheran Church in Carrington.
