Practicing with a new phone, Ervin Longnecker called his sister, Lucille Saldivar of Anaheim, Calif. Lucille is safe at her home. Her son, Alan is among the many teachers, teaching from home. Ervin also called Cindy (Longnecker) Allen and Jim Brown of Idaho. They are fine amidst the COVID-19.
Charlotte Koepplin received a phone call from Uncle Eugene Weisenburger and wife Dedre and cousin Eddy Weisenburger from Mojave, Ariz., checking on the weather here and the COVID-19 status. Eddy is driving Eugene to dialysis three times a week. They are playing it by ear on their return to North Dakota due to the virus both there and here. They would like to head back the end of April.
Last Sunday, yard visitors at the Ervin Longnecker home were Corey and Katie Jorgensen, Charles, Billy, Rynna and Harry. The kids were happy to see the horses.
On Easter, Charlotte Koepplin called Candy Jensen, Martin and Janelle Koepplin and Todd and Karen Koepplin with Easter greetings. Charlotte received phone calls from Janet Laube, Aaron and Danielle Koepplin and family, and Jay and Trisha McMonagle and family filled with Easter greetings.
Saturday evening, Ervin Longnecker enjoyed coloring eggs at the Merle and Sandy Longnecker home together through skype with Mike and Kim Vannette and girls from Fargo. Easter day supper found Ervin enjoying the company of Eric and Lisa Longnecker, Riley, Tucker and Cassie.
Saturday, Charlotte Koepplin enjoyed a yummy hoagie and au jus and Easter treats delivered to her mailbox for supper from Martin and Janelle Koepplin. Karen and Todd Koepplin stopped in briefly with Easter greetings and some of Karen’s yummy soft sugar cookies.
