Well, another week of social distancing. Do hope it doesn’t continue through the summer.
Lester Roberts is grateful to whoever is supplying him with beer, but now he has an “overload.” Lester’s sister, Delores Stack, called him to find out what the bad boy was doing. Lester paid a visit to Midge Quam one day this week, respecting social distancing.
Since Lester has time now to do some reading, his daughters, Lezlee Thorson and Bobbi Duberowski sent him an early Father’s Day gift. It is the book, “The Heroes Next Door: Benson County, ND WWII Veterans” written by Marlan and Nancy Hvinden.
James Nelson reported that it was his brother, Mayo Nelson’s birthday May 4. Happy belated birthday to Mayo.
Linda Madson received Mother’s Day calls from Carrie Prince, and Stacy Madson and a visit and a beautiful plant from Cathy and Shawn Caulfield of Jamestown. The visit took place on the deck covered with blankets and respecting distancing.
Melodie, Kennedee and McKenzee Madson visited Carrie and Paul Prince Sunday afternoon and also stopped by to bring Linda a lovely geranium and greetings as well as visiting with Cathy and Shawn.
Scott and Marilyn Thompson of Devils Lake visited Todd, Nadley and Hunter Buehler Sunday afternoon.
Nadley got a surprise visit and flowers last week from one of her third graders for Teacher Appreciation Week.
John, Donna and Johnny Grann were glad restrictions on local businesses have been lifted as haircuts this past week were much needed!
Bobbi and Donna enjoyed a trip to Dickinson on Tuesday to shop and compete in a barrel racing event.
Ben and Brittany Grann took a trip to Bismarck on Saturday to pick up some calves.
Even though your church may not be holding services, please remember them with a contribution to help with ongoing expenses.
Thought to Remember: It is never too soon to be kind, for we never know how soon it will be too late.
