Lester Roberts reported that the Oberon cemetery will be mowed Friday or Saturday (weather permitting) so asks that Memorial Day flowers wait if possible, until the mowing is done.

Doris Griffin’s goose is still sitting on her eggs, but they should hatch pretty soon. She only leaves her nest to get a quick bite to eat and a sip of water and dad chases her back to the nest. When the eggs hatch, the geese are very good parents and take good care of their young.
Doris’ guinea hens have 37 eggs in their nest. Two hens have been laying eggs in that same nest so maybe will share sitting on it as well. Doris has two bantam chicks. Her bantams will sit on guinea eggs and will raise them and take care of them along with their own chicks.

We are very proud of our great-granddaughter, Kennedee Madson. Her report card is all A and A+. We have not seen McKenzee’s report card yet, but I am sure we can be just as proud of her. They have missed being in school with their friends.
I received a phone call from a Sgt. Somebody supposedly from Social Security telling me that my social security number was involved in some crime and was being investigated so I was to call the number he gave me immediately. I did not do that as I know it is a scam. To my knowledge, Social Security sends letters and does not call.
