Submissions sought for college feature

Twice a year, the New Rockford Transcript features exclusive stories on college grads, scholars, athletes and performers from the area in an effort to celebrate student successes with our readers.

In light of COVID-19 restrictions, many colleges held virtual gradutions rather than in-person events. The “Transcript” wishes to recognize those students who have persevered despite the challenges posed by the coronavirus.

If you or a student you know has been accepted into a program, made the dean’s list, received a scholarship, earned a degree or been recognized for his or her collegiate performance during the Spring 2020 semester, we want to hear about it.

To submit your student news, please email our office at [email protected] or drop us a note in the mail to P.O. Box 752, New Rockford, ND 58356. Press releases and photographs submitted by colleges and universities are welcome and encouraged. The deadline for inclusion is Tuesday, June 23 at 5 p.m.
