Obituary: Richard D. Lund, Jr

Rich went home to be with the Lord Wednesday May 27, 2020, after running his race with faith and courage.

Rich graduated from Glide High School in Glide, Ore., Class of 1972, where he had a passion for running, track and football. He joined the Air Force in 1974 and served into 1980, and he proudly worked on the SR-71.

Rich and wife Cindy moved to New Rockford in 1997. Rich worked at Dakota Growers Pasta Company in Carrington until the couple moved back to Roseburg, Ore., in Oct. 2016.

Rich loved spending time with family and teaching his grandkids about his faith and our Lord.

Rich is survived by his wife of 40 years Cindy, daughters Angie and Brandy; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six brothers and two sisters.

He was preceded in death by his dad Richard Lund Sr. and his mom Loie Lund.

A private burial service was held.
