Talk of the Town: June 22, 2020

Janet Laube enjoyed a “how are you doing” phone call from niece Shelly Nelson from Oklahoma one evening.

Wednesday Shirley Packard and Calvin were among those tested for COVID-19 at the Eddy County Fairgrounds. They were happy to get negative results.

Friday evening visitors at the Ken and Marvis Holte home were Amanda Bickett and Iggy bringing fresh picked rhubarb to share.

House guests Monday through Thursday at the Shirley Packard home were Cheryl and Dave Gabbert.  

Later Thursday they motored to Grand Forks and on to Hankinson and Monday to Minneapolis where they will rent an apartment for two months.

Monday afternoon stopper, visitor and evening lunch guest at the Charlotte Koepplin home was Candy Jensen.

June Wilson Hagen & her granddaughter Allison of Helena, Mont., read the “Transcript” online together every Saturday. Allison especially looks forward to the adventures of Janet Laube’s dog YipYip.
