Barnyard activity at Doris Griffin’s barn: A raccoon visited, thinking he was going to get a meal, but got caught in the live trap set by a guinea hen’s nest. The guineas gathered around the trap and stood guard as long as the raccoon was in it. They were very verbally letting the raccoon know he wasn’t welcome.

The fox was back, evidently not remembering his last encounter with the guineas. He came right into the barn where Doris was feeding and when he saw her, he skidded to a stop, turned around and ran out. The guineas were chasing him and scolding him all the way out. So, no free chicken dinner for him once again.
