The last Songs on Central on Aug. 9 will feature audience favorites from the other four shows held this summer.
DPRCA has ramped up precautions given the uptick in COVID-19 cases. All volunteers wear masks and gloves to deliver refreshments to guests. There's plenty of room on the street for social distancing, and guests are asked to place their orders remotely online, by text or through one of the volunteers.
Dakota Prairie Regional Center for the Arts (DPRCA) concludes its summer concert series, "Songs on Central," with a greatest hits showcase this Sunday, Aug. 9 at 4 p.m.
The grand finale event will feature audience favorite hits from the four concerts held thus far. Each Sunday attendees filled out a short survey to identify their top two favorites from that day's show.
DPRCA started this concert series after they canceled their summer mainstage show for the first time in 28 years due to the pandemic.
There is no admission to these live, outdoor concerts. Rather, attendees are asked to make a free will donation to DPRCA. Coffee, smoothies and ice cream are available for sale, as well as commemorative t-shirts. All proceeds go to DPRCA. Go to http://www.dprca.com for program, menu and details.
