Dave, Linda, Melodie, Kennedee and McKenzee Madson and Paul and Carrie Prince left for Ranchester, Wyoming on Wednesday, August 12 to visit Stacy Madson. Paul and Carrie stayed at Stacy’s Wednesday and Thursday nights and then went on to Colorado Friday morning to visit Carrie’s daughter, Becki and her family, Ruben, Andrew and Elias. They returned home on Monday.

Dave and Linda enjoyed seeing their granddaughter, Haley Madson and grandson, Nate Madson and his girlfriend, Bailey as well as step-granddaughter, Kelsie Dellos and her boyfriend, Drew Druckenmiller and step-grandson, Buddy Dellos and his wife Jodie and her son Braxton.

While in Wyoming, Kennedee and McKenzee swam in the reservoir at Stacy’s, had a ride on the 4-wheeler and also swam in a mountain lake. The mountain lake was very cold so it was a short swim. We also enjoyed lunch at Bear Lodge. It was much cooler in the mountains. It was 99 degrees in Sheridan and 75 degrees on the mountain.

There is a burn ban in Wyoming as it is so very dry. About the only green grass you see is the yards that have been watered. Those lawns attract rattlesnakes.

The Madsons returned home on Tuesday.
