New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the family of Brenda Starke.

Janet Laube enjoyed Saturday phone calls from sister in law Lois Ockert and grandson Travis Laube both from Fargo. Just keeping in touch, finding out all’s okay on both ends.

Thursday helper at the Shirley Packard home was Randy Linderman repairing the porch before old man winter sets in.

Ken and Marvis Holte took a drive to Jamestown Tuesday, did some shopping, enjoyed lunch out and a visit at daughter Fayette and Don Nelson's home and going home with some garden tomatoes and fresh made apple butter.

Alan and Julie Lucht checked in with mom, Eloise Lucht, recently from their home in Germany. They are fine on the job and still making at least two quilts a week. It is mandatory there to where a mask and if caught without one you are fined. Eloise also heard from son Scott from Minnesota where he and his wife are remaining safe.

Margie Bohnet and a friend and Shirley Packard, Joey Seiler and Rob Lies were among those who attended the funeral and burial service for Eileen Dockter at Prairie Home Cemetery this week.

Mary Gehrtz was a Friday helper at the Shirley Packard home.

Friday evening visitors at the Ken and Marvis Holte home were daughter Amanda Bickett and Izzy. They enjoyed a game of cards.

The Duff and Sandy Settelmeyer hosted the Fall Ride of the Circle Trail Riders club over the weekend. Only to mention a few who enjoyed the weekend were, Paul Sykora, Paige and Grayson from Minnesota, Loren Anderson and Landen, Bill and Diana Ziegler, Jackie Schmaltz and C.J., Nate Rue and Axel, Dianne Goebel, Kim Brown and Caroline Wishensky.
