A Sheyenne farmer is showing his support in a monumental way for Democratic-Nonpartisan League gubernatorial candidate and veterinarian Dr. Shelley Lenz and her running mate, former District 23 representative Ben Vig. Dr. Lenz is running on a platform of "home-grown prosperity" that emphasizes collaboration with farmers and small towns. She also has a comprehensive COVID-19 crisis management plan that promises to minimize confusion and restore economic resilience to our communities. Notably, the Dem-NPL candidate for Lieutenant Governor in 2016 was also from District 23, New Rockford's own Senate Minority Leader Joan Heckaman. The soybean field billboard is located NW of Sheyenne, directly under the flight path of regional jets from Denver to Devils Lake.
