Craig Poulsen and Dave Swanson visited Todd Buehler last week.

Brittin Buehler watched her grandparents several times last week.

Elisa Buehler Wentz spent a couple of days last week visiting the family at the Buehler farm.

Laurie Knaust stopped by to visit Todd and Nadley on Friday.

Lacey Grann competed in the goat tying event at the Roughrider Rodeo finals in Jamestown over the weekend.

John, Donna, Bobbi and Johnny Grann went to Jamestown Saturday and Sunday to watch the Roughrider Rodeo Finals. It was a little cool but a very good rodeo.

Johnny Grann and Stephen Merrick went to Grand Forks on Saturday.

Lester Roberts had a phone conversation with his sister, Jean Olson in Mesa, Ariz., Sunday evening. He has also had some phone visits with Chad Getscher this week.

Doris Griffin, along with a number of others braving a cold, windy day attended the ground blessing for the new school in Oberon on October 13. Each grade was represented and they wore hard hats and did their shovel of dirt. Some of the little ones tossed the dirt straight up and it came back down on them. A Fort Totten drum group was also there.

Dave and Linda Madson had son-in-law, Paul Prince and his helper, Clair Antonson install a new furnace in their home on Friday replacing the one that was 40 years old and had done its duty. This took place following a visit from the Devils Lake Fire Department checking out a strange odor in the house late Wednesday night. He concluded it was the furnace after thoroughly checking for hot wires or smoldering wood etc. and evidence of carbon monoxide.

Paul and Carrie returned on Sunday as Paul had some things to finish with the furnace. They were lunch and coffee guests as well.
