Share the joy of Christmas with children in need

Just walk into a store, watch the Hallmark Channel, or notice the toy catalogs arriving at your home and you know that Christmas will soon be here. Will you share the joy of Christmas by purchasing a gift for a child who will have little or nothing under their tree at Christmas?

The Share the Joy of Christmas committee now has angel trees set up at five locations: First Lutheran Church, St. John's Catholic Church, Bank Forward, Central Pharmacy and Do It Best Hardware- all located in New Rockford. The beautiful tree at Central Pharmacy is pictured at left. The angel tags on the tree contain gift suggestions for a child. Children are not just from New Rockford but live anywhere in Eddy County. Gifts are to be wrapped and returned to the location of the tree by December 6. This date is early but time is needed to sort and then get the gifts delivered a week before Christmas. We encourage everyone to shop locally and check out all the possibilities our stores offer!
