Tom and Pam Schmid met their son, Jakob in Carrington and they enjoyed supper together Wednesday evening. Jakob has been working in the Carrington area this past week.
Dave Madson kept a medical appointment in Devils Lake on Wednesday.
Friday evening, Melodie and McKenzee Madson brought supper for Dave and Linda in celebration of their 58th wedding anniversary. Following the meal, the ladies enjoyed a tour of the Christmas lights and especially the ones entered in the Christmas Light contest in Devils Lake.
Melodie, Kennedee and McKenzee and Linda spent time this weekend baking Christmas cookies. Coffee time Saturday and Sunday found Mr. Syl Brown, Dave and Amy Jacobson joining the ladies to sample the cookies. They pronounced them “good.”
Carrie and Paul Prince stopped by for a short visit and to drop off groceries they picked up for Dave and Linda on Thursday.
Nadley Buehler visited Charlotte Simon Friday to belatedly celebrate Charlotte’s birthday.
Brittin Buehler visited Papa and Grandma several times last week.
Dave Kenner visited Todd on Thursday.
Grace Ihry visited Hunter Buehler and the family over the weekend.
The annual meeting of the Calvary Lutheran Church in Oberon will be held following services on Jan. 24.
Raymond and Carly Buckmeier from Brinsmade stopped by Tuesday to visit at the John Grann residence. It was such a nice day, they saddled up and helped John and Donna bring the cattle home to their winter feeding area.
Johnny Grann went to work with Lacey on Friday at the area NRCS office in Devils Lake. He job shadowed for the day in the office and in the field.
Donna and Lacey Grann went to Fargo on Saturday.
