Monday evening Bill and Diana Ziegler, Brent Helseth, Dianne Goebel, Kim Brown and Tony Rademacher were among those who attended a Circle Trail Riders meeting at Hanson’s Bar with business being the 2021 raffle and summer ride which will be the last weekend in June.

Shirley Packard enjoyed a phone call from Noel Evans (Allmaras) recently filled with holiday greetings.

Eloise Lucht enjoyed phone chats with son Scott and Kim of Rochester recently. They are recouping from COVID-19 and doing fine. Son and Alan and Julie of Germany also called. They are both well and avoiding the covid thus far.

Ken and Marvis Holte drove to Devils Lake Wednesday where they met daughter Fayette, did some shopping and later enjoyed lunch with Fayette and Donnie Nelson at their home. They also enjoyed a visit with Donnie’s mother Vi and got acquainted with Vi’s cat George.

Janet Laube enjoyed phone chats with Lois Ockert of Fargo and niece Shelly Nelson of Oklahoma recently. All is okay at both ends.

Evelyn Jo daughter of Taylor and Amanda Koepplin celebrated her first birthday in style Saturday with a noon dinner and donut party at James River Ag. She was greeted by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends as well as by great grandparents, Martin and Janelle Koepplin and Frederick and Dianne Allmaras, and grandparents Todd and Karen Koepplin and Tim and Bobbi Jo Indergaard.

Todd Koepplin was a Monday morning helper at the Martin Koepplin home and a brief stopper at the Charlotte Koepplin home.

Brief stopper at the Shirley Packard home on Sunday was nephew Todd Harrison.

Monday afternoon Candy Jensen accompanied Charlotte Koepplin around New Rockford and Carrington where they did some necessary shopping.

New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the family of Scott Harrington.
