Once the disappointment of a marathon first round game that didn't go their way subsided, the NR-S Rocket boys' basketball team regrouped for a respectable fifth-place finish in the Central North Dakota Conference (CNDC) Tournament, held December 17-19.The Rockets fell in three overtime periods to the Rolla Bulldogs, 88-87, at the NR-S Gym Thursday night, December 17, but came back the next two nights to defeat Harvey-Wells County, 65-36, and St. John by a final tally of 57-48.
Two out of three wins at the CNDC bolstered the Rockets' record to 3-1 on the season.
