Jakob Schmid and Alison Widmer were home for Christmas. Jakob spent Christmas Eve with Alison’s family and Alison spent Christmas Day with Jakob’s family.

Doug Schmid joined Tom, Pam, JD, Jakob and Alison at the Schmid home Christmas day.

Saturday, the Schmid’s spent the day with Pam’s dad, Bud Hermanson and her brother, Dan in Hampden.

Saturday evening, Lester Roberts took his friends, Midge Quam, Helen Ridley and Rita Waldorf around Devils Lake to look at the Christmas lights.

Lester received word on Wednesday that his friend, Delno Kindem passed away. Our sympathy to Delno’s family.

Randy and Charlotte Simon and Lee, Amy, Easton and Jaxon Simon attended Christmas Eve mass in Maddock. Following services, all had dinner at Lee and Amy’s home.

Randy and Charlotte and Carson, Heidi, Max and Elin Thompson of Grand Forks attended Christmas Day mass and then were joined by Lee, Amy, Easton and Jaxon for dinner and celebration at Randy and Charlotte’s home.

Mandy and Garrett Becker stopped by for a visit at the Simon home in the afternoon on Christmas day.

Charlotte and Heidi went to Rugby to visit Charlotte’s mom, Joan Bosch at the Care Center on Saturday.

Bobbi Grann and fiancée, Logan Olson, were supposed to fly into Fargo from Texas on Wednesday, but all flights were canceled. They were able to book another flight and flew into Bismarck on Thursday. John and Johnny Grann picked them up at the airport and they made it home Christmas Eve evening in time for supper and gift opening.

Donna Grann visited Ted and Tori Robinette on Christmas Day.

Ben, Brittany and Dutton Grann spent Christmas day with her brother and family, Tyler and Lydia Zaharia in Fargo.

Logan Olson, Bobbi and Lacey Grann went ice fishing Sunday with Zac Johnson and Elise Burwell from Minnewaukan.

Mike and Sherry Boehmer visited Todd and Nadley Buehler Thursday afternoon.

Dave Kenner visited Todd Friday morning.

Hunter Buehler traveled to Valley City to spend Christmas with Grace Ihry and her family.

Breana and Michael Pacheco, Mavis and Waylon of Watford City spent Christmas day and weekend at the Buehler farm. Breana baked Grandma Ruth’s buns and caramel rolls for the family.

Wednesday evening, Bob Brown of Las Vegas and his dad, Mr. Syl Brown and Linda Madson enjoyed another show by Kennedee and McKenzee Madson along with Christmas goodies and visiting.

Thursday afternoon, Dave, Linda, Melodie, Kennedee and McKenzee went to Jamestown to spend Christmas Eve and Day with Shawn, Cathy, Jerad, Ryker Ashton, Brandon, Sarah, Paige and Easton Caulfield at Shawn and Cathy’s home. Carrie and Paul Prince also joined the family Thursday afternoon and were overnight guests as well.

Saturday evening, Dave and Linda and Mr. Syl Brown were supper guests and gift opening at Melodie’s home.

Sunday afternoon, Linda and Carrie joined Melodie and the girls for the Lake Region Figure Skating Club’s “Holiday Exhibition” at the Burdick Arena in Devils Lake. Kennedee did a solo free skate performance.
