Sheyenne Christmas Day dinner served curbside

Sheyenne community volunteers changed it up and provided curbside turkey dinners on Christmas instead of serving the annual buffet sit down meal at the Ostby Hall. Just another example of how December 25, 2020 was different for many of us trying to stay safe during a pandemic.

Santa was on hand to carry meals out to the cars. Mayor Bob Hanson carved 15 turkeys, serving 180 meals. Thank you to Warren Implement and Rindy's Sheyenne Bar for their unsolicited donations. Thrivent Financial also contributed towards the purchase of groceries. We appreciate all who joined us for Christmas dinner.
