Pictured above, sixth graders took to the city's ice rink for games on Wednesday. The warming house at the rink is open Monday to Friday from 4 - 8 p.m. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays it will be open 2 - 8 p.m. If the temperature or wind chill rating at opening is -10 degree or lower, it will be closed.
The physical education instructors at New Rockford have been teaching the students a thing or two about playing it cool. Both Elliott Belquist and Cherry Heinz took advantage of the fair weather this past week and took the kids outside for a little fun on the ice....
