New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the family of Bill Hope.
Circle Trail Riders, Inc. held their Annual Meeting Monday, March 1, at the home of Sec./Treas. Charlotte Koepplin with ten members present. A ballot vote found Bill Ziegler, Cory Jorgensen and Diana Ziegler voted onto the Board of Directors, each for a three-year term. Cory Jorgensen remains President, Dianne Goebel remains vice-president, and Charlotte Koepplin remains Sec./Treas., each for a two-year term. Circle Trail Riders summer ride will be held on Father’s Day weekend, June 18, 19 and 20, with camping at Hendrickson Park, Sheyenne, with the annual fundraiser raffle taking place on Saturday, June 19.
Sunday found Janet Laube and YipYip, and Charlotte Koepplin driving to Jamestown for some necessary shopping. The gals enjoyed chatting over lunch at their favorite spot before returning home.
Ken and Marvis Holte enjoyed visiting, coffee and a treat Sunday at the home of Cody and Amanda Bickett and Izzy.
Kenny Thompson stopped briefly at the Eloise Lucht home on Tuesday.
Malissa Klocke and Joye Joyce were wed in Bismarck on Friday. Malissa is the daughter of Jerome and Vida Klocke. Sunday morning, the Klocke’s and the new Mr. and Mrs. Joyce left by plane from Bismarck for Jamaica for a traditional designated wedding.
Janet Laube was in contact with niece, Shelly Nelson of Oklahoma, this week and with sister-in-law, Lois Ockert of Fargo. Lois has been busy with her sewing machine and counting grand babies that are here and those yet to arrive.
Wednesday found Ken and Marvis Holte driving to Jamestown where they did some shopping and enjoyed lunch before returning home.
Craig Packard, son of Shirley Packard and the late Bob Packard, was admitted to a Veteran’s hospital at St. Paul, Minn. for some tests.
Sunday, March 7, found Martin and Janelle Koepplin celebrating their 52nd wedding anniversary relaxing at home.
