Savvy Senior: Could You Have Prediabetes?

Dear Savvy Senior,

What can you tell me about prediabetes, and how can you know if you have it? My 62-year-old husband, who’s in pretty good shape, was recently diagnosed with prediabetes and didn’t have a clue. Could I have it too?
