Saturday, Lester Roberts and his daughters, Lezlee Thorson of Devils Lake, and Bobbi Duberowski of Parkers Prairie, Minn., went for a drive touring Oberon and checking on the progress of the new school.
Lester’s visitors on Sunday were his brother, Roger and Bobbi.
Paul and Carrie Prince stopped by for a visit at Dave and Linda Madson’s home in Devils Lake on Tuesday.
Wednesday, Carrie was an overnight guest at her sister Cathy Caulfield’s home, in Jamestown. Carrie drove Cathy to Fargo to keep a medical appointment. Cathy is recovering from foot surgery and is unable to drive.
Stacy Madson is a hospital patient in Sheridan, Wyo., following foot surgery on Thursday. He will be going home this week. We are hoping for a speedy recovery for both he and Cathy Caulfield.
Charlotte Simon and her sisters, Jo Claire Halvorson, Lori Pedersen and Fran Harmel spent Monday through Friday visiting their sister, Linda Duchscher at her home in Surprise, Ariz. The ladies hiked the White Tank Mountains, had lunch at the Spicy Tea Cottage, shopped the boutiques in Glendale, Ariz., and relaxed at the pool.
Monday, Randy Simon attended the Jr. High track meet in Carrington. Grandson Easton Simon competed in the 1600-meter, 800-meter, and the 4x400-meter relay.
Sunday, Randy and Charlotte took in the Community Turkey Lunch fundraiser and silent auction for the Community Center in Maddock.
Bobbi Grann called on Wednesday and reported they have received over three inches of rain in Stephenville, Texas.
Brittany and Dutton Grann went to Cavalier on Saturday to visit her grandpa in the hospital.
Donna, Ben and Johnny Grann were in Williston on Saturday, and Killdeer on Sunday, at high school rodeos. Ben judged the events and Johnny competed in them.
Larry Howard, from Ray, drove up to Williston to watch the rodeo and visit with the Grann’s.
