Last week, Jake, Amanda, Fallyn and Piper Hegland celebrated Fallyn’s pre-K graduation on Thursday, May 13. Grandparents Terry and Nancy Weischedel, and Jarvis and Patty Hegland were guests. Following the graduation, they all met at the Bird Dawg Cafe in New Rockford for ice cream.
Thursday evening, the grandparents were supper guests at Jake and Amanda’s home.

Roger Roberts and Lezlee Thorson visited Lester Roberts on Sunday.
Doris Griffin wondered why the guineas were making such a fuss and went to check on them. They were not happy that a wild turkey gobbler was wanting to visit. After much protest by the guineas, the turkey walked sadly away.
Dave and Linda Madson traveled to Grand Forks on Thursday. Dave kept a medical appointment and they did some shopping before returning home.
Dave Kenner visited Todd Buehler last week.
Nadley Buehler helped celebrate the retirement of Terry Yri from the Maddock School on Friday.
Thursday, Charlotte Simon met Curtis and Jane Brobry for breakfast to celebrate both Curtis’ and Jane’s birthdays.
Charlotte accompanied Lee, Amy and Jaxon Simon, and Barb Miller, to the regional track meet in Rugby on Friday. Easton Simon competed in the 3200-meter run.
Barb and Doug Steinmetz, along with Lee, Amy, Easton and Jaxon Simon were lunch guests at Randy and Charlotte’s home on Sunday.
Charlotte attended the 2021 high school graduation ceremony in Maddock on Sunday afternoon. Charlotte taught this class when they were first graders.
Randy and Charlotte attended open-house celebrations for several of the graduates.
