Obituary: Claude Dreher

Claude Dreher, 66, passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021 at his home in Grace City, N.D.

Funeral service was held Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Faith Evangelical Free Church, Grace City, N.D. Rev. Dave Fix officiated with special music by Rachel Cunningham. Honorary bearers were Clarence Meyer, Denis Treer, Wesley Maisel and Jeff Bush.

Claude Carnell Dreher was born on May 22, 1954 to Frederick and Shirley (Loffelmacher) Dreher in Kensal, N.D. Claude graduated from Grace City High School. He loved the outdoors and had many outdoor hobbies; especially hunting, fishing, riding his Harley with his friends and just driving around the countryside. Claude also enjoyed working on his old tractors and vehicles, and spending time with his grandsons. Claude was a retired farmer. He loved his children and grandchildren. He took great care of his livestock and farmstead. Claude was a very hard worker.

He is survived by his mother Shirley Dreher; son Aaron Dreher; daughters Jessica Dreher and Emmy Lou Miller; brothers Ronald Dreher, Kevin Dreher, Fred Dreher and Karl Dreher; sister Mary Dreher; and seven grandchildren.

Claude was preceded in death by his father Frederick "Dean" Dreher and his grandparents, Millie and Frederick Dreher, and Marion and Hugo Loffelmacher.
