Randy and Charlotte Simon went to Oxbow to watch their grandsons, Mason and Miles Simon’s T-ball game on Thursday.
The Simon’s spent the weekend at the home of Mark and Tessa Simon. They took care of Mason and Miles while Mark and Carson Thompson played in the Oxbow Country Club golf tournament, The Battle of the Bow. Randy and Charlotte returned home on Sunday.
Last week, Tom and J.D. Schmid attended the funeral for Tom Wetzel.
Friday, Lester Roberts was in New Rockford on business.
Saturday, Lester took in the events at the annual Martha Hawk Museum Steam Threshers show. Lester visited with Craig Poulsen and Gene Woolley, and Carrie Tufte and her husband Ben and their children, Olivia, Isabel and Emma at the show.
Lester spent Saturday evening at Lezlee Thorson’s lake lot. He also enjoyed seeing Ryan, Megan and Aiden Thorson there.
Roger Roberts visited Lester on Sunday.
Dave Kenner visited Todd Buehler on Friday afternoon.
Hunter and Grace Buehler, Dawn Ihry and Ruth Ihry joined Todd and Nadley for lunch at the Buehler farm on Saturday.
Sunday visitors at the Todd and Nadley Buehler farm were Beau, Bria, Brittin and Brooks Buehler, Hunter and Grace Buehler, and Joel and Debbie Hjelseth and Kasper.
Howard and Helen Schmid traveled to Minot to see Howard’s sister Stacy Madson, who had enjoyed visiting friends in the Oberon/Sheyenne area this past week.
Thursday evening, Linda Madson and Stacy accompanied Melodie Madson to this year’s Children’s Theater production, “Lion King”. It was amazing how much the large number of kids learned in just two weeks. The show was wonderful. Kennedee and McKenzee Madson were members of the cast.
Carrie Prince was an overnight guest at Melodie’s home on Friday.
Sunday evening, Dave and Linda and Stacy were supper guests at Melodie’s home.
Jake, Amanda, Fallyn, Piper and Croix Hegland traveled to Omaha, Neb. to celebrate a cousin’s wedding. While there, they took in the Omaha Zoo and swam at the hotel swimming pool.
