New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the family of Marlys Ferguson.
Monday evening, Bill and Diana Ziegler, Duff Settelmeyer, Kim Brown and Rob Lies were among those who attended a Circle Trail Riders meeting at Hanson’s Bar. All is set for the upcoming June 18 - 20 trail ride and the annual raffle on June 19.
Brief stoppers at the Martin and Janelle Koepplin home on Tuesday evening were Todd and Karen Koepplin. Saturday morning, Aaron Koepplin, Hendrix and Chevelle stopped in.
June 7, Candy Jensen called Emerene James (Haakenson) of Fargo and wished her a happy birthday. On June 11, she called Beverly Koepplin with birthday wishes.
Thursday found Shirley Packard and others on the senior van to Devils Lake, where all enjoyed shopping.
David and Karen Anderson, and Todd and Karen Koepplin, were among those who attended a funeral service for Eddie Weisenburger on Saturday at Kvernes Lutheran Church.
Travelers Dave and Cheryl Gabbert are reportedly leaving Connecticut and heading for New Hampshire.
Thursday morning, Amanda Bickett, Marvis Holte, Holly Zieman and Lisa Marcotte along with granddaughter Kinley, met at the Prairie Inn, where all had a good chat over coffee and goodies.
Wednesday, son Derik Holte called his mother, Candy Jensen, to check on her and bring smiles and laughter from Minneapolis. All is well with Derik and Val.
Calvin Packard gathered family flowers from Prairie Home Cemetery one day, and was a helper at mom’s, mowing the yard.
Friday, Ken and Marvis Holte drove to Devils Lake where they enjoyed shopping with their daughter, Fayette Nelson, eating lunch at Fayette’s and meeting Frankie the cat.
Larry Lucht and family made it safely back to Virginia after a couple days here with mom, Eloise Lucht.
Candy Jensen enjoyed a phone call from Brenda (Trauman) Thurin Friday, from her home in Eureka, S.D.
Marvis Holte heard from her sister Penny and Troy Sorrells of Broadway Park, Minn. They are both recovering from COVID-19, doing okay and planning to get vaccinated soon.
Janet Laube and YipYip stopped briefly at the Charlotte Koepplin home on Sunday afternoon.
