Lions make contribution to Wonder Lanes

On July 3, the New Rockford Lions Club held a brisket dinner at Centennial Park, raising $3,000 towards the bowling alley restoration project.

With the addition of $10,000 from the Lions Club trust fund, a total of $13,000 has been raised to go towards the project.

NRABC Executive Director Amanda Hegland said last week that they are approximately $15,000 away from reaching their fundraising goal on the project. They continue to seek a proprietor to operate the downtown business once the upgrade is complete.
