Tuesday, July 27, Jeff and Denise Labrensz attended the North Dakota State Fair in Minot. They enjoyed looking at some of the exhibits and eating some fair food, followed by a short visit to Menards before heading home. They stopped in Rugby for supper at the Dairy Queen.

Thursday evening, Jeff and Denise were entertained by the Fort Totten Little Theatre production of “Grease” at Roosevelt Park in Devils Lake. All performers did an excellent job of acting and singing. They especially enjoyed watching some locals who were involved - Nick Hovey from New Rockford and Gavin Brown from Devils Lake.

Friday afternoon, Jan Loe traveled to Lakota to visit with Marilyn Stenberg and her daughters, Melissa from Minneapolis, and Laurel and Dennis from Iowa.

Patti Clifton kept an appointment in New Rockford on Friday.

Saturday, Jan had lunch at the Rockford Cafe in New Rockford with Susan Burgstahler from Minneapolis and Carol Tweten from Fargo. From there, they went to Oberon for the burial of Mimi Tweten Taylor. It was great to get reacquainted with friends they grew up with in Oberon. Later, Jan went with Eloise Ploium to Graham’s Island for a family and friends gathering to honor Kirby Nielsen, who passed away from ALS.
