Lester Roberts was in New Rockford on business on Tuesday.
Lester and Howard and Helen Schmid received a call from Don Knutson of Phoenix, Ariz. Don told them that his sister, Ann and her husband, Floyd Boschee of Sun City, Ariz. had both passed away within days of each other. Ann was a 1955 Oberon high school graduate. Sympathy to Don and his family.
Lester kept a medical appointment on Tuesday and reports that all is well.
Sunday, Arnold Johnson of Coco, Fl. visited Lester. They are cousins.
Saturday, Joni Duckworth and foster son, Zach of Larimore, N.D.; Steve and Sheila Breithaupt of Walla Walla, Wash.; Mike and Barb Tefft of Julietta, Idaho; and Linda Madson were morning visitors at the home of Melodie, Kennedee, and McKenzee Madson. The group moved on to enjoy lunch at a Devils Lake restaurant. Following lunch, they all drove out to Oberon to Craig and Sandy Poulsen’s home and visited and had a lovely meal. Carrie Prince and Kinley Poulsen and Claudette were also guests.
Following coffee, everyone then visited Kinley at his home. Kinley, Sheila, Craig, Joni, and Linda are cousins.
