Last week, Nadley Buehler traveled to Rochester, Minn. to help celebrate Annley Wentz turning one year old. Deb and Joel Hjelseth of Chattanooga, Tenn., Annette Wentz of Bismarck, and on Sunday, Grace Buehler joined Elisa and Joe Wentz to visit and celebrate Annley. Annley got to take her first stroller ride and go outdoors to celebrate her big day. Her room and clothing had a mermaid theme. She put her hand in her cake and enjoyed smearing it all over.

On Monday, Nadley helped Elisa and Joe get moved out of their apartment, and into the Ronald McDonald House.

Gail Risovi visited Todd and Nadley last week.

Dave Kenner visited Todd last week.

Hunter and Grace Buehler treated Dawn Ihry and Nadley to supper in Maddock on Saturday evening.

Hunter and Grace Buehler, Dawn Ihry, and Beau, Bria, Brittin and Brooks Buehler were Sunday dinner guests at the Todd and Nadley Buehler farm. The family celebrated Hunter’s birthday.

Thursday evening, John and Donna Grann went to Valley City to watch the Vikings play the Jamestown Jimmies in football.

Donna, Bobbi and Emersyn Grann traveled to Amidon and Granville over the weekend. Donna and Bobbi competed in barrel racing at the Slope County Fair, and the McHenry County Saddle Club Barrel series. The Slope County Fair is the home of the highest paid Bikini Barrel Race in three states. However, the Grann’s did not participate.

John, Lacey and Johnny Grann went to the Ransom County Fair in Lisbon on Saturday. John competed in the Sr. Men’s Breakaway event that evening at the North Dakota Rodeo Association rodeo.

Last Sunday, Tom and Pam Schmid went to Hampden to visit Pam’s dad, Bud Hermanson, and her brother, Dan.

Doris Griffin attended the annual Carving In The Park event hosted by Ken Throlson in New Rockford. Carving friends from near and far enjoyed visiting, learning new skills, doing new projects, and sharing ideas. A potluck noon meal was served.

Tuesday evening, Dave and Linda Madson joined Melodie, Kennedee and McKenzee Madson for a birthday celebration meal at the Ranch. It was McKenzee’s 11th birthday.

Thursday afternoon, Dave and Linda went to the Spirit Lake Casino to celebrate Dave’s 83rd birthday at the View. Also helping him celebrate were Melodie, Kennedee, and McKenzee Madson, Carrie and Paul Prince, Cathy Caulfield from Jamestown, and Dwight and Carol Eckart of Bismarck.

Friday, Carol and Dwight were visitors and lunch guests at the Madson home. That evening, Dwight and Carol treated the Madson’s to supper at the buffet at the casino in honor of Dave’s birthday.

Sunday afternoon, Melodie and Mr. Syl Brown were coffee and birthday cake guests at Dave and Linda’s.
