Saturday evening visitors at the Ken and Marvis Holte home were Cody and Amanda Bickett and Izzy. All enjoyed homemade chocolate cake.

Monday and Wednesday, Shirley Packard kept chiropractor appointments, and Tuesday had a medical appointment in Carrington.

Janet Laube and YipYip stopped briefly at the Charlotte Koepplin home on Saturday and Sunday, then they took a country drive and enjoyed a phone call with sister-in-law Lois Ockert of Fargo.

Sunday, Ken and Marvis Holte were among the many who attended the 100th anniversary celebration of the First Lutheran Church in New Rockford.

Friday, Cindy Toben and Teresa Harrison returned from their trip to the Black Hills. Cindy was a guest at her mom, Shirley Packard’s, while Teresa was a guest at her brother Todd Harrison’s. Teresa drove to Bismarck Saturday, where she attended a baby shower for cousin Malissa, married daughter of Jerome and Vida Klocke. Monday, Todd drove Teresa to Minot, where she boarded a plane back to her home in Mesa, Ariz. She is employed as a registered nurse.

Cora Koepplin and granddaughter Katie were visitors one afternoon at the Candy Jensen home.

Dave and Cheryl Gabbert are back in their home in Blaine, Minn. after good days with mom Shirley Packard and other family in New Rockford.

Eloise Lucht heard from her sister Ann from Alaska on Saturday. It was an 80 degree day here, and Ann reported 40 degrees there with snow flurries.
