Sharon Young, treasurer of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 30, presented a check for $1,000 to Amanda Hegland of the New Rockford Area Betterment Corp on Monday, October 4.

As one of their community service projects, the Raymond B. Thorn American Legion Auxiliary Unit 30 of New Rockford answered the New Rockford Area Betterment Corporation's request for donations for the renovation of the Wonder Lanes Bowling Alley in New Rockford.
On Monday, October 4, the NRABC was presented a check for $1,000, the "turkey" level, from the members of the New Rockford American Legion Auxiliary.
