Cokato, Minn.

Linda Marie Olson, 66,of Cokato, Minn. passed away on Oct. 6, 2021 at Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids, Minn., after a brief illness.

Linda was born on April 28, 1955 in Carrington, N.D. to Paul Hoppe Sr. and Margaret (Wobbema) Hoppe.

For the past 17 years, Linda resided in the Cokato area where she made many friends. Linda enjoyed cooking, baking, fishing, hunting, watching the World of Outlaw Racing, motorcycle riding and spending time with family and friends. She will be remembered for her smile, immense kindness and her go-with-the-flow attitude.

Linda is survived by her two sons Sheldon (Jeanne), and Conrad, Lindskog, Wisc.; three grandchildren; two sisters Margaret (Clarence) Frappier, McHenry, N.D. and Liz (Darrell) Anderson, Sheyenne, N.D.; one brother, Paul Hoppe Jr., Carrington, N.D.; brother-in-law Eugene Tischleder, Cokato, Minn.; sister-in-law Maxine Hoppe, Carrington, N.D.; significant other Steve Arneson, Winsted, Minn.; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers John, Jim and Charles, and sister Violet Tischleder.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date with burial in North Dakota.
