Wednesday found Shirley Packard and Judy McKnight riding the Eddy County van to Devils Lake, where they did some necessary shopping, while van driver Dennis Koenig had snow tires put on the van. All enjoyed a dinner at the White House Café, Shirley’s treat, before returning to New Rockford.

Tuesday, Marvis Holte accompanied her daughter Amanda Bickett to New Rockford where they took care of some shopping, and then enjoyed visiting over tea at the Rockford Café.

Janet Laube and YipYip heard from grandson Scott Laube. He had fun filling his deer tag this hunting season.

Wednesday, the 65 and older club of Trinity Lutheran Church, including Ken and Marvis Holte, enjoyed a tour of the Foster County Museum, and then had lunch back at the church.

Nephew Todd Harrison cleared the first snowfall of the season from Aunt Shirley Packard’s driveway on Friday morning.

Gary and Kathy Anderson were among those who attended the annual turkey and beef roast supper on Sunday to benefit the School House Café in Grace City. The meal was held at the café.

Thursday found Ken and Marvis Holte among those who took in the Veteran’s Breakfast at the Catholic church in Carrington.

Shirley Packard was out and about on Friday. She made a stop at the Community Credit Union and at Mick’s 281 for some tasty chicken strips.
