Don't feel like cooking on Christmas Day? Come join the community of Sheyenne at their annual Christmas Day dinner. Volunteers for the annual event will be busy preparing the turkey and all-the-trimmings dinner to be served from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the holiday-decorated Ostby Hall on the 25th. A free-will offering will be taken to help cover the costs for the meals.
Last year, all meals were take-out due to the coronavirus. This year, there will be limited seating, or come in and pick up your meal, or consider curbside pick up. To order ahead for pick up, call 701-996-3531 or 701-996-4721; or on Christmas morning, please call 701-996-3852.
Special guest, Santa Claus, will be there to visit with the attendees.
Support has also been provided by Warren Implement, Community Credit Union and Thrivent. This support is always appreciated and helps to make the event possible.
Sheyenne has offered this event for many years and it continues to be a very successful endeavor, thanks to all the volunteers and contributors, as well as those who attend.
So if you want to enjoy the meal and the fellowship, please consider attending this year.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Community of Sheyenne!
