The Buehler family celebrated an early Christmas over the weekend. Elisa and Joe Wentz, Beau, Bria, Brittin and Brooks Buehler, Breana and Michael Pacheco, Waylon and Mavis, Hunter and Grace Buehler and Maverick enjoyed meals, opened gifts and enjoyed family time.
The family was blessed to learn that Annley Wentz is medically ready to go home as soon as nursing care is in place in Bismarck.
Saturday, Johnny Grann came home from college for Christmas vacation.
Lacey and Johnny are spending a few days in Stephenville, Texas with Bobbi Grann and family.
Ben, Brittany and Dutton Grann spent the weekend in Bathgate, N.D. with Brittany’s dad, Teddy Zaharia.
Tom Schmid was in Fargo on business on Thursday.
Sunday, Pam Schmid and Jane Smith enjoyed the DPRCA Christmas production, “Winter Wonderettes” in New Rockford.
Doris Griffin attended the Minnewaukan 55 Club Christmas meeting on Wednesday. The program was presented by Claudette Carlson’ s Sunday School kids.
Saturday afternoon, Melodie, Kennedee and Linda Madson had fun baking Christmas cookies.
Carrie Prince, Linda and Melodie enjoyed the Lake Region Figure Skating Club’s Christmas Exhibition Sunday evening. Kennedee is a member of the club. She is on the Synchro team and also part of the free-skate group. She did a solo number as well as skating in the Synchro number.
McKenzee Madson spent the weekend playing hockey with the Devils Lake Flames’ girl’s team. They had games in Sydney, Mont., and Watford City and Crosby, N.D.
Randy and Charlotte Simon attended the New Rockford-Sheyenne vs. Carrington basketball game in Carrington on Monday. Easton Simon is a member of the NR-S team.
Thursday afternoon, the Simon’s went to Jaxon Simon’s Christmas program in New Rockford. Following the program, they traveled to Grand Forks to attend Max and Elin Thompson’s Christmas program.
Randy and Charlotte motored to Minot on Sunday and finished Christmas shopping. They also attended a 3-on-3 basketball tournament at South Prairie School near Minot. Easton played on an eighth-grade team and Jaxon played on a fifth-grade team.
Miles Simon will spend Monday and Tuesday with Grandpa and Grandma Simon.
