Keith Wright, 91, of New Rockford, N.D., passed away on Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021, at New Rockford, ND.
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021 at St. John's Catholic Church, New Rockford with burial at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, New Rockford. Fr. Reese Weber officiated with special music by Heather Klocke. Pallbearers were Travis Wipperling, Jeremy Puhr, Michael Hoffart, Tristan Johnson, Drew Keierleber and Darin Keierleber. Honorary bearers were all of Keith's grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Keith LuVern Wright was born on Oct. 18, 1930 to Dorothy (Topp) Wright and Lester Wright in rural Grace City, N.D. He completed high school in Grace City. He was a dairy cow and grain farmer. Keith married Marjorie Gross on April 14, 1952 at St's. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, McHenry, N.D.
He was a member of the Grace City School Board, the Eagles and the St. John's Catholic Church. Keith was recognized for 15 years of service with the ASC.
Keith is survived by his wife Marjorie; children Gloria (Steve) Wipperling of Wishek, N.D.; Carol (Mike) Sherman of Carrington, N.D.; Marlene (Colin) Hoffart of Harvey, N.D. and Kaye (Keith) Keierleber of Billings, Mont.; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister Margaret Stangeland of Carrington, N.D. and son-in-law Buster Eckert of Jamestown, N.D.
He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter Donna Eckert; brother Dwight Wright; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
