* Be prepared for heavy snow along shorelines and bring shovels. Ice is never completely safe. Avoid areas with vegetation, moving water, pressure ridges, and springs. Check conditions as you go along on the ice and don’t move around at night.

*Stump Lake elevation: 1,447.14 MSL.
*Lake Sakakawea elevation: 1,828.33 MSL; 16,000 cubic feet per second average (CFS) Garrison Dam daily releases.
*Devils Lake, Ed’s Bait Shop, Devils Lake: Fair to good perch success on main Devils Lake around the towers, prior to the cold and snow.
*Devils Lake, Lakeview Lodge, Minnewaukan: Anglers finding nice perch with some walleye mixed in around the towers, prior to the weather change.
*Devils Lake, West Bay Resort, Minnewaukan: No new reports.
*Devils Lake, Woodland Resort, Devils Lake: Access limited to tracked snowmobiles and UTVs. Angler numbers slowed with cold and snow, but look for continued fair success from northern feeder lakes and Devils Lake bays.
*Foster County area lakes, Dry Dock, Carrington: No recent reports with snow and cold weather moving through.
*Jamestown Reservoir, Pioneer Bait and Tackle, Jamestown: No activity on area lakes.
*Jamestown Reservoir, Sooper Stop, Jamestown: Weather limiting activity.
*Lake Ashtabula, Ashtabula Crossing, Luverne: No new reports.
*Lake Ashtabula, Bayshore, Valley City: Be prepared for possible difficult access onto Lake Ashtabula in some locations
*Lake Sakakawea, Cenex Bait and Tackle, Garrison: Difficult access on Lake Audubon and Lake Sakakawea back bays.
*Lake Sakakawea/Lake Audubon, Hwy 83 Lawn and Leisure, Garrison: No Lake Audubon reports.
*Lake Sakakawea/Lake Audubon/Missouri River, Scott’s Bait and Tackle, Pick City: Little to no Missouri River activity.
