The family of Martin Koepplin gathered with many friends, neighbors and acquaintances Tuesday evening, despite the nasty weather, for a prayer service in memory of Martin. They met Wednesday morning at First Lutheran Church for the funeral, fellowship and later for burial at Prairie Home Cemetery.
Saturday, Charlotte Koepplin was among family to meet at the Janelle Koepplin home and help write thank you notes after all enjoyed bread dough dumplings made and brought by Aaron Koepplin. Other potluck items were sweet carrots, grape salad and peach dessert.
Sunday, Margie Anderson enjoyed phone calls with brother Glen and wife Judy Cudworth from South Dakota, where it was 31 degrees, and with brother Doug Cudworth.
Charlotte Koepplin enjoyed a phone call with Carol Clancy on Sunday. All is well in Thompson.
Margie Anderson, David and Karen Anderson, and Gary and Kathy Anderson, were among the many who took in the family prayer service on Tuesday eve at First Lutheran Church for Martin Koepplin.

Granddaughter Sandra Larson brought apple pie to share with grandma Margie Anderson along with grandma’s homemade lima bean soup on Friday.
Todd Koepplin was a snow pusher at the Charlotte Koepplin home on Friday.
Jimmy Indergaard enjoyed a phone call from his sister Sharon Laxdal on Wednesday and on Sunday. He was a visitor and supper guest on Thursday at the Andy and Ruth Braaten home, where they watched girls’ basketball on TV. Saturday, Jimmy was a supper guest at the Braaten’s. Cousin Vicki Magill brought supper on Wednesday, and on Saturday, Jimmy enjoyed a phone visit with his sister Fran Walen. Monday night, he and Ruth took in a girls’ ball game.
Margie Anderson and Judy Swanson enjoyed a phone call on Sunday afternoon.
