Eloise Lucht was an overnight guest at daughter Heidi and Jay Schneider’s home in Devils Lake Tuesday. Wednesday the gals drove to Grand Forks where Eloise had an appointment for her eyes. Getting a good report, they made it safe and sound back to their homes.

Cindy Toben, daughter of Shirley Packard, called from her home in Watertown, S.D. Cindy will be moving to Minnesota in April. Shirley also heard from her travelers Dave and Cheryl Gabbert who have decided to finish wintering in Florida and be back in Minnesota in April.

Tuesday Amanda Bickett and Izzy brought cookies to share over tea and conversation at the Ken and Marvis Holte. The gals played a little hand and foot card game.

Wednesday evening Taylor Koepplin celebrated his 28th birthday with family and friends at the Eagles Club in New Rockford.

Janet Laube enjoyed a phone visit with grandson Scott Laube Sunday.

Ken and Marvis Holte called son Loren in Bismarck Friday and wished him a happy birthday. Marvis enjoyed a phone call with sister Penny Sorrells of Minnesota Sunday.

Tuesday Shirley Packard was around New Rockford with the convenience of the Eddy County Bus taking care of necessary errands.

Wednesday son Calvin was at mom’s Shirley Packard’s and brought to light her mail by reading to her, as she has impaired sight.

New Rockford and area folks extend sympathy to the family of Edward Tollefson.
