On February 23, the members of the 4-H Shooting Sports Club had a meeting. President Jackson Brazil called the meeting to order. The first matter of business was the secretary report given by Charlie Jorgensen. Then on to the treasurer report given by Chaztin Wobbema. The next order of business was a discussion of future activities for the club. Shooting sports instructor Michael Brazil presented a few ideas about outdoor activities that could be included in the club. Each of the members said something that they wanted to do: camping, fishing, kayaking, outdoor survival, and wilderness cooking were ideas that were brought up. Next, they talked about designs for club t-shirts. Chaztin Wobbema and Oakley Brazil will be discussing ideas further with Amy Wobbema at Transcript Publishing. Then they talked about fundraising. Plans are to sell fruit boxes. Club members also discussed working at the Eddy County Rod and Gun Club raffle.
The meeting was adjourned by President Jackson Brazil. The next meeting will be Wednesday, March 9 at 5 p.m. Location to be determined.
