It's time to think green. The New Rockford Area Chamber of Commerce is celebrating St. Patrick's Day all week long!
The annual local shopping event, now in its third year, has been rebranded and expanded from one day to five!
Shop local from Monday, March 14 to Friday, March 18 for your chance to win Chamber bucks.
Here's how it works: Pick up a shamrock shopping card at any participating business. Each purchase of $5 or more at a participating merchant is good for one "stamp" on the shamrock shopping card. When all four leaves of the shamrock are marked, fill out your name, phone number and/or email and drop the filled card in the drum at the Transcript office. On Friday, March 18 at 4:30 p.m., a drawing will be held for three $50 Chamber bucks prizes!
Participating businesses as of press time included Do It Best Hardware, NAPA Auto Parts, Miller's Fresh Foods, Central Pharmacy, Cash & Carry Lumber, New Rockford Transcript, Beyond the Brand Boutique, Bakers Dozen, Latte Lobby, Rockford Cafe and the New Rockford Eagles Club.
All participating businesses will have big green four-leaf clovers in their store window/door or on their Facebook page/website so you know where to go to get great deals.

There is no limit to the number of entries a person can have. The more you shop locally this week, the more chances you have to win!
Drop off cards at the Transcript office by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 18. Winners will be announced on the Chamber's Facebook page and published in the March 28 edition of the New Rockford Transcript.
