Granddaughter, Kalli Koepplin, and grandma, Janelle Koepplin, enjoyed a visit over lunch, Friday, at the Rockford Café and later a visit at the Charlotte Koepplin home. Kalli is from Minneapolis, where she is employed as a nurse. Kalli brought Mother’s Day greetings to Grandma Nel, as well as her mother, Carol, and her grandmother, Veronica Davis.
Shirley Packard was in Carrington Thursday, taking care of some necessary shopping.
Coffee guys, including Ken Holte, enjoyed a visit over coffee Monday at the Chieftain in Carrington.
Calvin Packard did some yard work for mom, Shirley, Friday and Saturday. Mother’s Day, Calvin treated mom and delivered her choice of a ham dinner from the Rockford Café.
Tuesday, Amanda Bickett and Izzy brought treats from the Garden Gate to her parents, Ken and Marvis Holte. A tasty treat while visiting.
Janelle Koepplin was among family to attend the confirmation of Carter Beckley at the Federated Church in Carrington, Sunday. And a family and friends gathering at the Aaron and Danielle Koepplin home, where all enjoyed grilled burgers and brats, with all the fixings, and watched Carter open his gifts.
Thursday, Ken and Marvis Holte drove to Devils Lake, where they picked up their daughter, Fayette Nelson, and enjoyed shopping. Then it was back to Fayette’s for some conversation over lunch. The Holte’s brought early birthday greetings to Fayette.
Mother’s Day, Eloise Lucht enjoyed a visit from daughter, Heidi, and Jay Schneider, Caleb and Callie, bringing flower baskets and pizza. Eloise also got messages and flowers from son, Scott, and Kim; son, Larry, and Irene; and son, Alan, and Julie.
Cody and Amanda Bickett brought Mother’s Day greetings to Marvis Holte, Sunday evening. All enjoyed angel food cake with strawberries and whipped cream. Marvis also received a rose house plant from daughter, Fayette.
Janet Laube had a Mother’s Day visit over the phone with Lois Ockert of Fargo and took YipYip for a Sunday drive to check out the sites around New Rockford.
